Monitor Files
Besides monitoring folders, DirMonitor is able to monitor single files as well. Also, you can set a Watch on a non-existing file, so you'll be informed when it's being created.

To add a file, click on Add File Watch...

With this form, you can add File Watches to your DirMonitor File. To add a Watch on an existing file, use Browse.

When you're ready click on Add to Watchlist to add all files in the list to your DirMonitor File.

As said, you can set a Watch on a non-existing file. To do this, use the Add File Form and browse for a folder:

Now, you need to manually set the filename.

A Watched File, existing or not, will have a log and all other features that a Watched Folder has. For more information: see Monitor Folders.
